Optional Brightness and Contrast Adjustment

This step is completely Optional, but one I like to apply. The change is subtle.
Select Image, Adjustments, Brightness/Contrast

Set the Brightness to a small negative number (5-10).
Set the Contrast to a small positive number (5-10).
Preview the image before you accept the change.
